Faculty and Administrators: How to Get Started

This section provides an overview of how to access your MyWAOL account and other features for Instructors and Distance Learning Coordinators. Some of the things you will learn in this section are:

Distance Learning Coordinators

How to Access Your MyWAOL Account - Accounts for Distance Learning Coordinators are created by WAOL.
Instructions on how to access to your account will be emailed to you after the account has been created. If your account has been created and you are unable to access it, contact WAOL for assistance.

How To Access the DL Council Organization - WAOL has created a Blackboard account for each Distance Learning Coordinator providing the Distance Learning Council a place to share documents and discuss issues related to distance learning. To access the Council Organization, go to Blackboard and enter:

USERNAME: waol_firstinitiallastname (example: waol_mjohnson)
PASSWORD: waol

Once on your Blackboard portal, click on the "Organization" tab at the top of the page. If you have any questions, please contact WAOL.

Instructors
		How to Create a WAOL Instructor Account - Complete and submit the online Instructor Account Creation form. Account access information will be sent to the email address you provided when creating your account. Click the Login link in the main navigation bar above to access your MyWAOL page. Your MyWAOL page will contain personalized links to online forms and useful information.

		· Windows 2000 - Mozilla FireFox or Internet Explorer 6.1 · Windows XP - Mozilla FireFox or Internet Explorer 6.1 · Macintosh Users, Blackboard recommends · Mac OS 9.2 - Netscape Navigator 7.0 or Internet Explorer 5.1 · Mac OS X.1 - Netscape Navigator 7.0 or Internet Explorer 5.1 or 5.2 · Mac OS X.2 - Netscape Navigator 7.0 or Internet Explorer 5.2 · Note: Javascript and cookies must be enabled in order to log into Blackboard.
