Finding
lost Files on your PC
Find is an easy-to-use
program that comes as part of Windows.
To open Find:

Click
the Start button on the toolbar, then choose Find, OR

From
the drop-down menu, choose "Files or Folders."
Search by file name:
-
From
the Name & Location tab, type in the file name (or part
of the filename) in the Named box
and select the computer's hard disk (usually C:) in the Look
in box.

Click
on Find now.

Click
on the date tab.

Click
on Find all files created or modified button.
-
Select
one of the three options below it and fill in the relevant dates,
months or days using the pointer.

Click
the Find button.
